If there ever was a mascot for perseverance and tenacity, it is the weed. No matter how many weekends my husband and I devote to getting rid of those suckers they always seemed to bounce back. Here’s to being a weed in life and growing through life’s obstacles.

Today’s post is about inconvenience. With the fall semester just around the corner I may need to start posting more sporadically instead of on a schedule, at least until my classes are smoothly underway.
Your choices won’t always be the best. One time my husband brought home food that could have had a serious consequence. Fortunately I was able to intervene. Sometimes having a second pair of eyes is a good thing.
What do you do when your built-in microwave keeps tripping the breaker and would be expensive to replace? Work together and figure out the issue. This is what good relationships and friendships boil down to: each contributing what they can to continue moving along. Stick by people that stick by you.
Sometimes worry and stress can overtake you, and in that moment you entertain the possibilities they present. There’s nothing wrong with that; everyone needs a time or two to weigh all the options, explore all possibilities, both good and bad. Sometimes seeing the downfalls make way for better decisions.
Weird and quirky habits make the world go round. There isn’t a person out there that doesn’t have some kind of unusual tic, even if only they themselves think it’s unusual. Sometimes those habits can be endearing. What’s your weird habit?
At the end of the day when it comes down to it, people go for quality. Sometimes getting this quality takes a while, but someday, after a possible slow buildup, that quality will be recognized. We can’t all be overnight sensations, but that doesn’t mean our pursuits don’t mean anything. Keep going; keep hustling—you’ll get there eventually.
