Bribery and manipulation are what make grocery day a big occasion at our house, and the animals love it. Nothing like a sweetened deal to get the dogs to behave.
Quality purchases are awesome finds. It’s amazing what’s out there that a person may not be aware of. Exposure is definitely king in getting customers.
My birthday is this week. It’s been an interesting year with a lot accomplished mixed in with some failures. I still hold true to the belief that perseverance is the best strategy. If you are in a low place right now, take comfort the fact the sky won’t be grey forever. Hang in there.
This week it was solidified that I get headaches from tea and soda. What’s weird is it really wasn’t about the caffeine—I was drinking decaffeinated beverages. For the moment I still have my awesome tea collection (I was a tea fanatic), but for now they will have to patiently wait for me to make a cup again. Have you ever had to give up something you really liked?

One time I walked into our home and there was a sea of generators covering the entry way. It was my husband’s latest sales scheme. While it was very annoying to have them litter our house, he did make quite a bit of money and even bought a daily driver.
Sometimes you can be prepared to slay a dragon, but sometimes the dragon still wins. This is why backups are good to have in place, because sometimes things don’t work out. Morale of today’s post: don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
The abysmalness of hardware stores. It’s not that I don’t mind their existence, I just don’t want to spend a large chunk of my weekends in them. And I definitely don’t want to go to several different stores price matching duct tape.
