Cat Races

One evening while I was holding an online class lecture, the kitties, Socks and Elsa, got jazzed about a green toy mouse. Picture the moment: two cats, one toy, and no traction on the floor. My husband watched the scene unfold and told me about it when my class was over. I busted out laughing.
It’s the little things that keep you going.

Writing and Fur Babies

I’m staying busy with my writing, considering new strategy and working on sequels and new stories. I think my favorite part of writing is to think up something, then bring it to life on paper. I love the feeling I get when I play out the story as I write (I’m definitely a pantser most of the time).
But it’s important to also take time for yourself: some relaxation time; perhaps a little yoga. I hope everyone is staying safe and keeping healthy as we all gear up to where life takes us next.

Whiskered book tour

I’m on a virtual book tour right now for my fiction piece, A Whiskered Perspective. It’s a cat story for adults with a relationship twist: dating a narcissist. This is one relationship goal you don’t want to have.

Miller thinks she has found love but her cat, Pumpkin, tells a darker story. Not all love is equal, even if you desperately want it to be.

All it takes is a great smile, a winning personality, then when they’ve got control the switch flips and you start to deteriorate under their loveless gaze. Not if your cat has anything to say about it.
